2027 infinniti qx65 coming soon

INFINITI continues to update its lineup of SUVs to align with the new Monograph theme, first popularized on the INFINITI QX80. As INFINITI continues to step into a new era, it’s set to introduce its newest nameplate: the INFINITI QX65. It continues this futuristic, polished theme that sets INFINITI apart, while sharing some history with the QX60 SUV. The QX60 is our current mid-size three-row SUV, geared towards families. The QX65 shares an engine with its older brother but opts to chop off the top of the roof while removing the third row. The result is a stylish fastback roofline that stands out from the road. The sloping coupe roofline might not be as practical, but it still offers plenty of cargo space behind the second row. The new QX65 is also expected to debut with one of the most advanced cabins ever found in an INFINITI SUV. 2027 will be the first model year for the QX65, so we’re still waiting for confirmation on some of the details about the release. In our 2027 INFINITI QX65 preview below, we’ll highlight everything we know about the new INFINITI SUV. To be the first to drive one in OKC, contact Bob Moore INFINITI.

2027 QX65 Performance and Powertrain

While many details about the new QX65 remain unconfirmed, we do know it will share a powertrain with the INFINITI QX60. Expect to see a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood, delivering 268 horsepower via a nine-speed automatic transmission. The QX65 should come standard with a front-wheel drivetrain, but all-wheel drive will also be available. It should be capable of towing about 6,000 lbs of cargo, perfect for hauling mid-size boats to the lake this Summer. We expect it to average about 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the open road. Stay tuned as we learn more about what to expect under the hood of the 2027 QX65.

New INFINITI QX65 Trim Levels and Cargo Space

The INFINITI QX65 is a crossover, but still has the larger design of its sibling. The removal of the third row means you’ll have plenty of room to store all your cargo, with plenty of room for your passengers to spread out across all three rows. You’ll find 36 cubic feet in the rear and up to 68 cubic feet of total cargo volume. For 2027, we expect to see the INFINITI QX65 offered in the following three trim levels:

  • INFINITI QX65 Luxe
  • INFINITI QX65 Sport
  • INFINITI QX65 Autograph

The Luxe will offer the most value of the bunch, while the Autograph promises to be one of the most well-equipped cabins in the INFINITI lineup. We think the Sport will be a popular option for OKC drivers, offering upgrades such as ventilated front seats, a better sound system, multi-color ambient lighting, and additional technology.

New QX65 Technology

Every QX65 is equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that floats in the center of the dashboard, connecting you to Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. On its left flank, you’ll find the same-sized screen sitting behind your steering wheel, serving as your digital gauge cluster. An optional 10.8-inch head-up display is also available. In the Luxe, you’ll find an 11-speaker stereo system, while other trim levels get 16 or 20 speakers, courtesy of Klipsch. The QX65 is set to come loaded with safety technology, getting standard automated emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and an optional 360-degree camera system. Hands-free driving is also an option on the new INFINITI SUV.
