INFINITI QX50 Wins 2021 Consumer Guide Best Buy Award

For the third year in a row, the INFINITI QX50 has earned the title of winner of the Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award in the segment for Premium Compact Crossovers. Even after more than 150 new vehicles were entered into this competition, the INFINITI QX50 still came out on top once again for the year 2021.

The INFINITI QX50 earned this award by reaching every high point for a premium compact SUV. Its VC-Turbo engine certainly added to the QX50’s high score due to its revolutionary design. It is the first production engine in the world that includes variable compression, which allows it to combine both power and utility.

Aside from its extraordinary performance, the INFINITI QX50 also achieves excellence through its classic and unmistakable INFINITI design elements. For the year 2021, the QX50 got an upgrade in the form of additional standard equipment. For example, Wi-Fi Hotspots, Automatic Collision Notification with emergency call, rear seat-mounted side-impact supplemental airbags, and acoustic laminated front side glass were incorporated across all models.

As for available technologies, the QX50 presents the option to add Direct Adaptive Steering, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Head-up Display, and Traffic Sign Recognition. There are also a variety of available packages for the QX50 like the appearance package for the LUXE model that adds dark chrome accents, 20-inch black-painted wheels, a graphite headliner, as well as black grille mesh and mirror caps. Other options include the Tow Package or the Climate Package.

The driver assistance features in the INFINITI QX50 include Rear Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Warning, ProPILOT Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and High Beam Assist.
